The Jequitibás Forest, created in the 1880s, is a park located in the Central Region of the city of Campinas , being one of the largest and oldest leisure areas of the city, with approximately 1 million visitors a year. It is located at an altitude between 652 m and 681 m. It has a total area approximately 10 ha, while the forest reserve area native to the Atlantic Forest is 2.33 ha, mixed with other types of vegetation and buildings.
